“In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day”
Mark Batterson is a pastor in DC who is leading a non-traditional ministry that is very effective in reaching out to people in my age group: 18-35 (you’ll have to ask my wife which end of that range I act like…). I have a feeling that this book is going to challenge us to take advantage of the opportunities God puts in our life.
You can read more about Mark on his blog: eVotional.
He’s also a presenter at the conference Dan & I are going to in August: the Echo Conference (blog here).
If you’d like to read along & participate, please find a copy of the book at your local bookseller or through the amazon link we’ve provided here in this post (or on the neat carousel thingy on the FE home page).
