Veterans Day isn’t officially in the church calendar, but it’s one of those days that I think it’s important for the church to acknowledge.  It’s good for us to slow down, look at what we’re experiencing as a nation, and remember to praise God for all those who serve him in many and various ways.  Certainly the sacrifice of our veterans is worthy of such attention.

So take a moment right now and give thanks to God for those who have served, and then take a moment to remember those who are serving right now, especially those separated from their families.  That’s it, just stop right now and pray.
