No matter how much we ruminate about meditation or philosophize about free will or desire to experience a transfiguration, our thinking about religion, God, and life in general always boils down to 1 question that we have to answer:
Who Really Is Jesus?
Either he physically existed or he didn’t. Either he healed people or he didn’t. Either he fulfilled OT prophecy or he didn’t. Either he has a connection with you today through the Spirit or he doesn’t. Either he has restored your relationship with God or he hasn’t.
Everyone – yes I mean everyone – that we meet in the U.S. has made a decision about these questions. They know who Jesus is.
Or do they, really?
From now until Palm Sunday, we’re going to follow Jesus on his journey from the countryside to the cross to try to unveil ‘The Secret’ of who he really is. Each week (at our Evergreen Location only) we will investigate a different episode from the Gospel of Mark that will help us unravel the secret of who Jesus is and what it means for us in 2009.
