So as we come to the close of one year and enter a new year it’s time for people to reflect on what has passed.  Here are some stories I saw for you to enjoy.

The oddest and most amusing headlines of 2009.

Here’s a photo essay by Time that has some nice shots helping a person reflect on the year that was.

Not only are we at the close of a year, but also of a decade, so here’s a retrospective piece on the top stories and people of the sports world in the 2000s.

As we close out this year let’s think about our faith.  What have the highlights been for you?  What about lowlights?  If someone had been taking pictures of your year what images would capture the essence of what God’s been doing with you these past 12 months?

And as you walk forward into 2010 take a moment to pray that  God work even more powerfully- in our world, our nation, our churches, and in our own lives.
